Hello! I’m glad you’re here … this experience of living is really quite a thing, isn’t it? It is so rich, so beautiful, and can be so incredibly hard in moments. We can all use some kind attention and support at those times.

My approach has been shaped by my own experiences of hardship and healing, and all of the modalities I offer have been inspirational and transformative in my own life.  I often feel that our life’s work is really all about coming back home to ourselves: our spirits come into the world whole, and then are quickly shaped by cultural and intergenerational forces that teach us to see ourselves a certain way, to show up a certain way, and to relate to others in a certain way.  Often these ways are, sadly, far removed from the “home” of our authentic natures, our innate goodness, and our wholeness.  It’s like we forget who we are.

And so this is our work: to remember who we are, to gently invite the layers to unfold, to peer into the dark corners and get curious about the things that may have felt  “normal,” but are not actually healthy, helpful, or true.

Through my training with the Hakomi Method of Somatic Psychotherapy, mindfulness, attachment theory, and resiliency-based somatic methods, I largely pay attention to what you aren’t saying (the unconscious things), and then help you bring kindness and curiosity towards yourself and your patterns.  Through this exploration, you have the opportunity to resolve pockets of undigested experience and to let go of what isn’t serving you anymore.  By including the body in the process, you get to do more than just talk about things: you get to feel something different from the inside out.  My hope for you is that you may then open back up to a more whole, more open, more energized way of being in the world.
